Correlation of deformation and fatigue characteristics of single crystals and polycrystals (in Czech)

Abstract
Comparison of stress-strain and fatigue characteristics of single crystals and polycrystals of copper and Cu-Zn alloy shows the reasonable mutual conversion of S/N curves on the basis of Taylor conversion factor. The conversion of cyclic stress-strain curves is possible in the first approximation only. Coffin-Manson curves cannot be mutually converted at all. The explanation of this statement is based on the different volume fraction of zones exhibiting higher cyclic slip activity in single crystals and polycrystals.
